Introducing Your 2026-2027 Indiana FFA State Officer Team

Hey everyone! My name is Hayden Stookey and I have the honor of serving as the 2026-2027 Indiana FFA State President this year! I first joined the FFA in seventh grade and have since then called Tippecanoe Valley in District V my home. Whether it be a soils judging contest, public speaking opportunity, or the chance to showcase my knowledge of parliamentary procedure, you could probably catch me doing just about anything this organization has to offer! That is why I am so excited for this year…I get to connect with each of you and witness firsthand the impacts of the blue jacket. I know that it has brought me tremendous growth, so I cannot wait to be a part of that journey for someone else!

If I am not prepping for an FFA event, you’ll most likely catch me playing tennis, showing beef or dairy cattle, nerding out about the latest Marvel film, or just simply spending some time outdoors. Indiana FFA, I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve you this year and I cannot wait to see what is in store for us!

Hey Indiana FFA! My name is Katie McClain, and I am honored to serve as the 2026-2027 Indiana FFA State Secretary. My FFA journey began in seventh grade when my advisor promised a donut to anyone who joined the soils judging team—I can never turn down free food! I am proud to call the Carroll at Flora FFA Chapter in District IV my home and am grateful for all the memories I have made there. Whether placing first in an Agricultural Mechanics Demonstration or nearly last in a Livestock Skillathon Contest, I truly enjoyed competing in a variety of contests. I look forward to connecting with members from across the state and sharing how much we have in common. Outside of the blue jacket, you can find me training my dog Mocha, cooking elaborate dishes, or traveling anywhere. I love new experiences and can’t wait to see all the adventures the coming year will bring!

Hello Indiana FFA, my name is Jessie Frazee and I am ecstatic to serve as your 2026-2027, Indiana FFA State Northern Region Vice President. I’m proud to come from the Fountain Central FFA chapter in District III.

Throughout junior high and high school, FFA became an increasingly large chapter in my life. From CDE’s like crops and forestry, to LDE’s like prepared public speaking and creed speaking, I love just about everything FFA had to offer. Once I was bitten by “the bug in a blue jacket”, I began trading in my running shoes, headgear and helmet for the next phase of corduroy. Something you’ll always find me doing beyond the walls of FFA is working on, collecting and driving antique International Harvester vehicles. I also have an extreme passion for music. As I get older, I have a deeper appreciation for the way music unites people, shares emotions, and allows you to feel a certain way simply because of some noise. I am excited to bring my passions and my experiences into this coming!

What’s up, Indiana FFA?!

My name is Baron Riley, and I am overwhelmingly grateful for the opportunity to serve as your 2026-2027 Indiana FFA State Southern Region Vice President! I am proudly representing the Crothersville FFA Chapter in District XV!

My FFA journey looks different than most, not coming from an agricultural background- I struggled to find my footing in the organization. However, after many conversations with my agriculture teacher and other members, I found that FFA was a place for anyone who could find a passion for the industry and leadership development.

Soon after, I was able to find my love for public speaking. I have competed in several LDEs such as Extemporaneous Public Speaking, Employment Skills, and Multimedia Scrapbook. I have also found my love for livestock judging and crops judging through CDEs.

Through this organization, I have found my passion for agricultural advocacy. Because of this, I dream of becoming an U.S. Senator, or maybe more realistically, an agricultural lawyer.

When I’m not in the ag classroom, writing a speech, or at a FFA event, you can usually find me at 7Brew, playing pickleball with my friends, or traveling the world.

I am SO excited to meet each of you, and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store!

Hey there, FFA!

My name is Garrett Schwering, and I am so blessed and honored to serve as your 2026–2027 Indiana FFA State Treasurer. I am proud to say that I hail from the North Decatur FFA Chapter in the great District XIV!

Agriculture has been the foundation of my life. I grew up on a family farm, where my dad taught me the importance of hard work and dedication. As the youngest of three older sisters, I grew up in a family where FFA was not their passion. In seventh grade, I decided to join this great organization and quickly found both a home and a passion. Over the last six years, I have been involved in numerous CDEs and LDEs, with Soil Judging and Parliamentary Procedure being among my favorites.

Over my time in this blue jacket, I have grown not only through FFA but also as an individual. My advisors, Katie Stokes-Morman and Alaina Muckerheide, have been outstanding role models and mentors, not only for me but for our entire chapter. It is because of their hard work and dedication that I have become the person I am today. They have challenged me in countless ways and encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone.

I am extremely excited to serve this year alongside my team as we continue building a strong organization of leaders. Whether it is through a conference, chapter visit, or simply a conversation, I hope to make a positive impact on the next generation of leaders. In addition, it is my goal throughout this year to be a light for those members who may not think they can be successful because they are not deeply involved in their chapter. All it takes is one contest, one event, or one opportunity at a time to grow as an individual.

Outside of FFA, I can be found working in my greenhouse, relaxing by the pool, or spending valuable time with my friends and family.

Fellow FFA members and guests, I am beyond excited for this opportunity of a lifetime. I cannot wait to meet you throughout the year, whether it is at a camp, contest, conference, or simply in passing. I look forward to getting to know each of you and sharing this incredible year together.

Here’s to a great year of growth and development!

Hello Indiana FFA!

My name is Jaylynn Goodwin and I’m truly overwhelmed with gratitude as I begin this journey serving as your 2026-2027 Indiana FFA State Reporter! I proudly come from the Southridge FFA Chapter in District XII. As a 3rd generation FFA member, my journey in this wonderful organization started at the end of my 8th grade year of junior high whenever two of my greatest mentors Mrs. Susan Atkins and Miss. Brianna Lammers encouraged me to take the steps to say yes to joining FFA and competing in my very first contests.

Ever since, my journey has been nothing short of incredible, filled with authenticity, growth, connections, and opportunities. Every conference, convention, contest and event that I participated in brought growth, opportunity, and mentors that helped me become the person I am today, and for that I am forever grateful. This year I’m beyond excited to meet and genuinely connect with so many FFA members, to plant seeds of encouragement and watch members grow, and to lead with authenticity, encouraging members to be fully and truthfully themselves. Outside of FFA, you can find me in the barn working with my livestock, traveling with my family, growing in my relationship with Christ, or cooking up something good in the kitchen.

Indiana FFA, I’m so ready for this journey of a lifetime and can’t wait to meet, connect, and make the best memories with all of you!

Hello Indiana FFA! My name is Khloe Hinojosa and I am incredibly honored to serve as your 2026–2027 Indiana FFA State Sentinel. I am from the Warsaw FFA Chapter in District V and have proudly been an FFA member for five years. Throughout my FFA journey I have participated in a variety of Career and Leadership Development Events, with Practical Forestry and Parliamentary Procedure being two of my favorites. While I didn’t grow up on a farm, agriculture has impacted my life in meaningful ways through hands-on experiences working alongside a local farmer and caring for livestock. Those opportunities helped me discover a passion for the agricultural industry and the people who make it so special. Outside of FFA, I have a deep love for nature, education, and being with others. When I’m not busy with FFA activities you can usually find me outdoors with a good book, exploring God’s creation, or spending time with friends and family. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to serve Indiana FFA alongside an incredible team and I cannot wait to meet members from across our state and make memories that will last a lifetime!

Each member I crossed paths with has had unique passions, strengths, and a story that I have felt privileged to learn about. It is difficult to sum up in words the impact this year, and all of you, have left of me. Thank you for welcoming me into your chapters, schools, and communities with open arms. I will cherish these memories and connections forever! I can’t wait for the day our paths will cross again. Keep dreaming, keep growing, and I can’t wait to see where the blue jacket takes each of you next!

Indiana FFA, thank you for the best year of my life. This year, you have filled my heart with joy, love, and countless memories. Through chapter visits, banquets, conversations, and every moment shared along the way, I have seen firsthand how each of you is multiplying love and sharing it with your chapters, your communities, and the world around you. I am beyond blessed to have traveled across Indiana and witnessed the incredible ways you are making a difference every single day. I cannot wait to continue cheering you on for years to come. You will always have a seat at my table, and I will always be your biggest cheerleader!

Always in your corner,

2025-2026 Indiana FFA State Secretary

When I reflect on this year, one word comes to mind: “blessed”. Blessed to meet thousands of passionate FFA members. Blessed to serve to serve the organization that has shaped so much of my life the last five years. Blessed to have had a platform to learn, grow, and advocate for what matters most. But to say I am blessed to know each of you would be an understatement. You have impacted me in ways I can’t even begin to explain. Indiana FFA, thank you for giving me a place to be wholeheartedly myself, a purpose to pursue, and memories I will cherish forever.

This is just the beginning,

Erianna Vela

2025-2026 Indiana FFA State Northern Region Vice President

Indiana FFA, there are truly no words to describe the love I felt from all of the chapters across the state. From every chapter visit, classroom, handshake, conversation, and every moment shared, you reminded me what it looks like to show up for people. You welcomed me into your communities and allowed me to lead even when I wasn’t perfect. You reminded me that growth rarely happens in comfort; it happens in moments that ask something of us. So when life feels heavy, keep going. If you're tired, keep showing up. And if you’re carrying something no one else can see, keep moving forward. I will forever cherish my 365 days spent with you. Keep showing up, letting others show up for you, and being thankful.

See you soon,

Calvin Myers

2025-2026 Indiana FFA State Southern Region Vice President

Thank you Indiana FFA. This year has been amazing beyond words! Thank you for welcoming me into your chapters, homes, and chapter events! I truly enjoyed every conversation and interaction I had this year! As each one of you goes on with your life and grows out of the blue jacket, I encourage you to remember all the memories made and lessons learned. I encourage you to keep writing your story and to grow from past chapters, let future chapters guide you and live in the present chapter! Life is meant to be lived moment by moment! Can’t wait to see all that you do!

See ya around,

Lily Sloan

2025-2026 Indiana FFA State Treasurer

Thank you for allowing me to have a year that I’ll never forget. I am so grateful I got to spend 365 days creating new friendships and memories that will last me a lifetime. The impact each one of you has had on me is incomprehensible. You all have changed my life. Thank you for welcoming me into your story and allowing me to live out a dream for one extraordinary year. Remember the impact you can have- even if it’s just one person. Invite them in. Be the kind of people who make sure everyone has a place in the story.

Love you bunches,

Jenna Lawler

2025-2026 Indiana FFA State Reporter

Indiana FFA, It has been a true honor being able to serve all you during my years as your state sentinel. Thanks for welcoming into your chapters, getting to know every person I have cross paths with and just being able to share laughs, memories and awkward moments along the way. Of course, if you see me around, don't be afraid to say hi. I will miss the memories and all of the amazing people in this organization. Thank you for always being there, and continue to lead our organization with service and humbleness.

I leave with this quote from the book of an ancient book that reads -

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬ ‭

Be Wismatic,

Jesus Santana
